Lighting
Lights play an important role in False ceiling . A suspended ceiling gives you the freedom to choose the effect of lighting based on its function such as ambient , task and accent lighting. It allows you to light up certain areas brighter than the others depending on wheather its for a house, an office, a jewelry store, garden area, etc.
Most commonly used types of light fixtures are:
Recessed Light:
It is used when you need to light up a room without actually seeing the light fixture. As the name suggests, recessed lights are those which are built into the false ceiling of a room.
Troffers:
What standard recessed lights are to residences, troffers are to offices and labs. Troffers are rectangular light fixtures that fit into a modular dropped ceiling grid system.
Cove Lighting:
Cove lighting is ideal when you need to give a room just a warm glow. The light source is installed in a coffered light recess such that it is out of sight from all angles. The light is directed upwards and, when bounced off the ceiling, gives the room a soft warm glow.
Suspended Light :
These lights are ideal for large rooms with high ceilings. They come in varied styles and shapes.
Track Lights:
These are a series of spotlights arranged on a linear track. Each of these lights can be adjusted to varying angles so as to focus on multiple points simultaneously. Track lights are ideal for kitchens and gallery spaces.
