Cement Board False Ceiling
Cement Boards are of two types ; Fibre cement and Calcium silicate Boards. The application of these boards are more functional than for aesthetic purpose. They are used in Wet areas, areas of excessive heat/ humidity, they are also alternated to ply boards in the making of kitchen cabinets as they are termite-proof and non- asbestos eco-friendly material.
We take utmost care during installation of these boards, as any compromise in the gauge of the framing system could deteriorate the holding capacity of these boards and will gradually result in cracks at those joints.
The finish to the ceiling would be the same as that of a concrete ceiling comprising of application of two coats of putty and then painting it with the desired colour, to give an appealing look as the original ceiling but with all the added benefits.
